Nature-Based Exchange Symposium
Join us for the first ever Nature-Based Exchange Symposium!
Note: This page is currently under construction. Completed information will be uploaded soon!
About the Symposium
Join us for a day-long symposium to celebrate nature-based solutions in South Carolina. Learn about completed and ongoing nature-based projects implemented across the state and provide your own project updates by giving a presentation or by contributing a case study to our Digital Library.
Through this combined effort, more knowledge on existing nature-based projects will be made available, strengthening the state of the practice. As nature-based solutions continue to grow, questions around many aspects of project design, cost, monitoring, and maintenance persist; these examples can provide clear insight into best management practices and lessons learned so that South Carolina can learn from one another to maximize our efficiency, capabilities, and knowledge around nature-based solutions for the benefit of our communities and the environment.
Presentations from fellow practitioners will take up the bulk of the Symposium. To encourage time for networking and relationship building, a happy hour will follow the Symposium from 4pm until 6pm.

Abstracts will be accepted through August 31, 2025. Case studies will be accepted on a rolling basis but must be submitted by October 15, 2025 to be digitally showcased at the Symposium.
